TL;DR: We’re launching an Apex Coffee Shop in Schaerbeek, Brussels – and we need your support. We’re launching because we love coffee, because we love people, and because we love Brussels.
To My Friends Living & Working Outside Of Brussels
Yes – like any other major European city – Brussels has seen its share of terrible events in recent history. And just like London, Paris or Madrid, it’s still more than worth your visit – and your business.
Making Change Happen
So much for the good news. Brussels is indeed bleeding, and the country feels the pain. That’s why media, city, region and country are coming up with a string of initiatives to boost our image and to help out local entrepreneurs.
But in the end, government and media can only pay lip service. It is the people that are willing to put their money where their mouth is who make change happen. Whether they come and visit or provide the venue for that visit. Whether they are volunteers, artists, employees or entrepreneurs. More than ever, we need new initiatives.
It is the people that are willing to put their money where their mouth is who make change happen.
Chipping In
I founded The Startup Coffee Company – and Apex Coffee – in the summer of 2014, with the initial goal of offering great coffee – roasted by Belgium’s Best -to office workers in Brussels.
My first customer was Fast Track Consulting – not by coincidence a change management consultancy. Their vote of confidence proved to be the start of an amazing adventure.
Now, one year and a half – and a string of other amazing customers – later, Apex Coffee has moved from a project to a business: from I to We.
With it grew the wish to take Apex Coffee one step further, to physically plant our flag in the streets of our city: a vibrant environment needs inspiring places to meet – and to discover.
That’s why we’re opening a coffee shop in Schaerbeek. Schaerbeek is a small metropolis in its own way, a true hive of creativity.
We want to offer an environment to match: one of discoveries and shared moments, a spot that invites people to venture further into coffee – and into our city.
Chipping in, as it were.
We’re not doing this alone. We need you. We’re starting a crowdfunding-campaign – very soon. Just follow the link, or subscribe to our mailing list below, and we’ll make you an offer you can’t refuse.
See you soon in Schaerbeek!
